Tremendous Tuesday!
We have been invited to go up to
the Maples Academy on Thursday June 1 to watch the Spelling Bee finals! Please
return the permission home that was sent home today so that we can cheer on our
St. Jude’s friends, including Daksh and Ruhaan!
We began the day having French with Mlle.
Jessica.
We then moved onto math. We first
we worked on our mental math skills involving addition, subtraction,
multiplication and division; our time today was 02:47!! We then reviewed how
multiplication is skip counting and repeated addition. Next we worked in groups
to better understand multiplication as repeated addition.
Then we had gym.
When we returned, we showed our understanding of
multiplication in our math books.
Following first recess and lunch we had Music. When we
returned we practiced for Art’s Night.
After second recess and lunch we worked on some Art’s
night decorations. Jordan also shared his adventures with Cuddly. Cuddly had an
amazing time with you Jordan!!
Michael is our action star today!!!! He researched about
how pollution can negatively affect many animals and taught this information to
the class. WOW Michael we became more knowledgeable about how we can help our
animal friends! We need to make sure not to pollute anywhere, including any
bodies of water.
Amber is taking Cuddly home tonight! Have fun!
