Marvelous Monday! 

We began the day with math. We reviewed how to find the area of a parallelogram 



and then we learned about finding the area of a triangle.

We then practiced finding the area of a triangle and drawing triangles with specific dimensions. 

Then we had French.

After first recess and lunch we discussed French and English exploration and about Henry Hudson’s attempts to make it to Asia using what is now known as the northwest passage. 


We then reviewed the age of exploration and how it was fueled by a search for another route to Asia using water instead of land.

We then worked on our Speech.  Students are to have finished reason 1 paragraph and begin reason 2. Students are reminded of the format for each paragraph:
