Marvelous Monday!
We began the day having French with Mdm. Stella.
After, we continued writing our letter to a friend about
the features of our community.
We then learned that an adjective describes a noun. We
went over some examples and then students wrote down adjectives describing
themselves.
We then drew a picture of ourselves and attached our
seven adjectives describing ourselves.
After first recess and lunch we had physical education
with Ms. Lovan.
In Math, we continued our unit in patterning. We learned
that patterns can be represented in different ways, which means that the
pattern core/rule can stay the same but the way the pattern is represented can
be different (words, symbols, shapes, objects, letters, numbers, pictures,
colours, and direction). Students applied this knowledge in
their math makes sense workbook.
We then continued working on our letters and any unfinished
work.
At the end of the day, we wrote our homework in our
agendas and worked on our lesson 2 spelling words.

Also, students are to write out the
spelling words once in cursive and once in printing in their pink notebooks.
