**Wednesday September 30 we will be having the Terry Fox run. Pledge forms went home last week. Please have your child come in comfortable casual clothing because we will be running outside. Thanks so much!**

Japan Poster
Students
will bring in two pictures representing Japan in the following areas (For each area, students are to bring in at
least two pictures, so at least 12 pictures all together):
o
Food,
shelter, transportation, shelter, clothing, and other important information.
We
will use these pictures on Friday to
create a travel poster on construction paper.
We began the day having French with Mdm. Stella.
We then had our unit one math test for patterning and
sorting.
When we were finished, we demonstrated how we have been inquirers
and showed the attitude of curiosity.
After first recess and lunch, we had physical education with
Ms. Lovan.
When we returned, we reviewed what we have already learned
about Italy and more specifically Venice. We then continued watching a video
about Venice and filling out a graphic organizer about food, shelter, transportation,
clothing, leisure, and other information.
We then finished working on our learner profile (inquirer)
and attitude (curiosity) for the month.
After second recess and lunch, we wrote out our unit 3 spelling
words and then showed our understanding in our spelling books.
We had some time to work on cursive when we were finished
and wrote our homework in our agendas.
