Tremendous Thursday!!!
We will be having our spelling test
tomorrow. The Spelling words are a review from lessons 1-5. I will choose 11
words for the test.
We will be having our unit 2 Math test
tomorrow.
We began the day having
French with Mdm. Stella.
After, we wrote our homework
in our agendas and then Chelsea presented her project about her country-Talent
land:
We then had art with Ms.
Kerr.
During UOI, we were each
given an advertisement and we needed to figure out the message and the clues
that revealed this message to us.
We then continued working on
our math reviews.
After second recess and
lunch, we worked as a group to create a persuasive advertisement. Here are Important considerations: name of product, target audience,
catchy opening (to catch reader’s attention), catchy words and phrases, reason
why the audience should buy our product, descriptive explanation of our product
(ensure to use lots of detail describing how the reader’s mouth would respond
to your product). We need to remember it is important that the advertisement is
convincing (persuading) the audience to buy our product!
We worked trough all these
important consideration while creating a new pizza. Here is the advertisement
we created together:

At the end of the day, we
continued working on our pumpkin writing from yesterday. We finished up our
rough copies and began working on our good copies.
